Bunkshere Farm is a small private training facility in North Central Massachusetts owned and operated by Bruce and Abby Guinard. The farm was named in memory of Bruce’s father, Robert “Bunk” Guinard.

At Bunkshere Farm we specialize in Foundation Training —starting young horses, and retraining horses with behavioral problems. Our training methods center around the horse/human relationship. We subscribe to the Natural, or as some would call it, True style of horsemanship made popular by Bill and Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, and others.

In addition to private training, Bunkshere Farm offers a variety of clinics open to the general public each year. We also sell high quality new and used saddles and tack, as well as high quality round pens.

All of our training and tack sales are by appointment only. Please call to schedule an appointment before coming to the farm.

Founded in 1998, Bunkshere Farm was named in loving memory of Robert "Bunk" Guinard.

Though Bunk didn’t live to see Bunkshere Farm, his spirit is here — his presence is felt everyday.

We miss his advice, experience, and encouragement. But it helps us to know that a little part of Bunk lives on in every horse we train here.
